When we first started solids we discovered that my little guy loves sweet potatoes. I’m not the biggest fan of sweet potatoes but it is such a good food for him so I definitely wanted to find some ways to incorporate it into his diet after we stopped giving him baby food. My husband is always ordering sweet potato fries at restaurants so I decided to give those a try. I want to avoid giving my toddler fried food so I decided to go with a baked version. Easy Peasy Sweet Potato Fries
- 1 sweet potato
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
- Cut sweet potato into slices and place on baking sheet
- Sprinkle with olive oil and nutmeg. Toss to coat
- Put in oven for 20-25 minutes
- Cool and serve!
